[Zack leans back in his chair, turning it to the side so that he can look at the Buster Sword, stood leaning against the wall behind him.

He huffs, the corner of his mouth quirking as he picks up the magi-comm again]

He's got the important part. You can come and pass on your stupid jokes yourself.

[he laughs quietly to himself as he types back a response]

Technically it was an order, so you're not supposed to thank me. [what a smartass] You know I don't mind. What do you need me to do?

Sir. [ He plays to it all anyway. He always will. ] Mind checking how much rice we got left if you're around? Gonna pick up a few things up on my way back.

[y'know, a part of Zack wondered if he'd actually miss it, the "sirs" and standing in front of dozens of soldiers no older than he was, offering advice along with orders.

He misses encouraging them, guys like Cloud. Or doing his best to, anyway. But the rest?

He doesn't. And he's not sure what to feel about it.
